Great news!!! The water well in the village is now operational and the school's food supply was delivered as scheduled. All of this occurred not a moment too soon as Pastor Pierre has informed us that we now have over 500 children enrolled in the school. The increase in enrollment is the result of the migration of many Haitians families, out of the devastated capitol of Port-Au-Prince back to their ancestral homes. Even though there is still a dire shortage of food on the island, it is a comfort to know that, thanks to the support of people like you, 500 children are being fed at least one meal a day. We cannot say thank you enough! Our next village wide feeding day is scheduled for next week. We hope to be able to supply 300 - 400 families with a few days worth of rice, beans and cooking oil. Not a lot to us, but priceless to the people of our village and the surrounding area. We are happy to report that the Mission team that was traveling to Haiti last week made it there and back safely. As of yet, we have been unable to get the details of their trip, but we are thankful for their safe return. Unfortunately they were unable to connect with Pastor Pierre to deliver his blood pressure medication. The medication was left with the pastor of a church located on the outskirts of Port-Au-Prince. Hopefully Pierre will be able to make arrangements with that pastor, to pick up the medication. Please continue to pray for this situation. In the midst of the devastation, God is doing marvelous things in Haiti. We are so thankful for your interest in this work and we look forward to updating you again soon. God Bless!
