| Haiti Update |

Well, we have faced some challenges since our last update was posted 3 weeks ago, but God is good, and we know that He is in control even when trials arise. Unfortunately the ship that was set to carry our supplies to Haiti was not able to carry as much weight as they had originally hoped, so many of our boxes had to be left in a tractor trailer in Miami. Most of our food made it on board the ship and was scheduled to arrive in Haiti late last week. The day of the scheduled arrival, we received word that the ship had lost a sail and experienced other mechanical issues and had to divert to Jamaica to make repairs. As far as we know, the ship has not yet left Jamaica, as the captain and crew continue to run into one obstacle after another. Please continue to keep this voyage in your prayers. Thankfully we have been able to connect with a Miami based organization by the name of Help Haiti Now. They are organizing a shipment of supplies and have agreed to assist us in transporting the remainder of our items from Miami to Haiti. This is a huge blessing, as the boxes that were left can only be stored for a limited amount of time, so it was looking as if we were going to have to make another trip to Miami to bring the remainder of the items back to Tampa. Pierre reports that people are in desperate need of these clothes, shoes and medical supplies, so we ask for your prayers as we continue to work on the shipping arrangements.
Finally, we are also seeking God's guidance as we make plans to take a small team into Haiti in early June. The trip has a twofold purpose. One is to take Myriam back to Haiti for the summer break, and also to make a firsthand assessment of the needs in the village in preparation for a more extensive trip in the November time frame (after hurricane season). We will continue to keep you updated on these plans, as well as the status of the above mentioned shipments. Thanks you so much for your continued prayers and concern. God Bless!!!
