Praise God!!! Our brothers have returned from Haiti safely with testimony after testimony about God's goodness in the face of such difficult circumstances. We thank you so much for your prayers, as there were numerous times during this trip when planning and logic went out the window and the team had to truly walk by faith. We know your prayers are what kept them safe when lightning struck the school/church campus only feet from where Alfonso and Christopher were sitting, and we know your prayers are what got them home when the "fast boat" broke down and the group was forced to take the "slow boat" back to the mainland to catch their flight back to the states. While waiting for the slow boat to fill up, Alfonso reported that it would take a miracle for them to make it to the airport in Port Au Prince in time for their 9:17 a.m. departure. Well, that miracle came through and they made it with only minutes to spare, and only hours before a pilots strike indefinitely grounded all Spirit airline fights. Once back in Fort Lauderdale, Alfonso and Christopher where able to check on the items we have stored with an organization by the name of Touch Haiti Now. The organization has been kind enough to secure our boxes and supplies in their warehouse and we are hoping that we will be able to partner with them in the future as we continue to look for the best way to ship items to Haiti. Please continue to pray for God's guidance as we continue to encounter both physical and financial obstacles in this area.
